Allergen Statement

All of Pucker Pieces current recipes and the processes are free of Major Food Allergens and their derivates. The Major Food Allergens are dairy, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans. Any and all peanuts and or tree nuts are processed in a separate room from the Pucker Pieces products.

Major Food Allergens

The FDA reports that 90% of adverse reactions in people in the U.S. resulting from food consumption are caused by one of these top eight food allergens:

• Dairy
• Eggs
• Fish (e.g., bass, flounder, cod)
• Crustacean Shellfish (e.g., crab, lobster, shrimp)
• Tree Nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans)
• Peanuts
• Wheat
• Soybeans

Consumer Responsibility

IF YOU ARE UNSURE REGARDING THE SAFETY OF A FOOD PRODUCT ALWAYS CAREFULLY READ THE LABEL BEFORE DOING SO. Should you be allergic to or suspect being allergic to certain food ingredients always check the product package label for specific information stating the contents of the package.

Position of Nutrition and Ingredient Labels

The primary source of Allergen information for our consumers is the product label. All of our labels clearly indicate all ingredients and nutritional information following guidelines set forth by the Food and Drug Administration. Our labels may be found on both the Product packaging and our Dispensing systems. Labels found on our Product packaging are always located on the rear face of the package. Position of these labels varies in regards to our products dispensing systems. Newer Twelve and Fourteen Flavor Dispensing Systems Nutrition and Ingredient information may be found on the base of the dispensing unit (See Fig A). Some older Twelve Flavor Dispensing Systems label is found on the top sign of the unit (See Fig B). Six Flavor Dispensing Systems label are found on the top sign of the unit (See Fig C). Regulatory Compliance

The Federal Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) was enacted on August 14, 2008. Sandblast by Creative Concepts Inc. / Pucker Pieces has acknowledged this legislation and has accordingly tested it’s product in order to comply with CPSIA regulations applicable to our product. To legally and ethically ensure the safety of our customers Sandblast by Creative Concepts inc. / Pucker Pieces conducted third party laboratory testing for our product in 2008. The test results came back negative for both lead and phthalates stating our product is compliant with CPSIA regulation. Laboratory test results are on file for further review.
